Our Story

Restaurant Khan is a family-owned Korean restaurant in Buitenveldert and stands for Korea and Hanguk. The restaurant started in 2007 by Mr Jang and his wife, Mrs Oh, who are both from the Jeolla-do province in South-Korea. Jeolla-do province is known for its cuisine, and its famous Jeonju city belongs to the UNESCO City of Gastronomy.

The owners’ love for Korean food and culture is embedded in Khan, where the food, family and sharing are central. At the helm of the kitchen is Mrs Oh, who learned the cooking skills from her very own mother, skills that have passed down from generation to generation.

Now, those culinary skills are used to prepare the most delicious, authentic Korean dishes that are meant to be shared with the loved ones. Come and taste and be surprised by the various flavors that Khan offers.
